# List Alerts

> List alerts, newest first: global list changes plus the caller's own hits.

The caller's subscriptions (if any) narrow the global alerts only, to
their minimum severity and their jurisdictions; the caller's own hits are
always shown. ``subscription_filters`` in the response says what was
applied (null without a subscription), so a narrowed list never reads as
"no alerts". Jurisdiction codes are stored lower-case; "NL" matches "nl".
