# Verify Payment

> Verify a PaymentPayload without settling.

Accepts base64-encoded PaymentPayload JSON (same as PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header).
Returns {isValid, payer, invalidReason, ...} without recording or settling.

Used by clients to pre-validate before submitting to the protected endpoint.
